The 19th International Phage Biology Meeting at the Evergreen State College was held from August 7 through 12, 2011, exploring all aspects of phage biology, genomics, ecology and applications. The primary goal is to provide a strong opportunity for people from various backgrounds, ages and places to build strong working relationships, leading to new insights and collaborations.
For the first time ever all seven continents were represented, with one of our affiliates doing phage hunting in Antarctica.
