For this internship I believe we’re interested in having it begin for the summer quarter, beginning of June, if that works well. It is paid and could potentially be supported for several quarters depending on our funding stream. Some more info for the position description (although the form might already reflect such):
- Position: Collection Curatorial Intern – Indigenous (Coast Salish) Basket Collection
- Ideal candidate/qualifications: Indigenous student with interest/understanding of Indigenous basket weaving, archival science, museum studies
- Internship hours: 10-15 per week
- Internship duration: Summer quarter (potentially ongoing dependant on funding)
- Paid – open to discuss
