Join us for a special screening of the documentary “Finding Common Ground: Collaborative Leadership in Washington State.” This film tells the compelling story of diverse individuals overcoming differences to address some of the most complex conservation challenges in the Pacific Northwest. It highlights the journey from the “Fish Wars” of the 1960s and 70s to the landmark collaborations that followed, such as the Centennial Accord and the Yakima Basin Integrated Plan.
Panelists include Karen Fraser (former State Senator), Jim Peters (Squaxin Island Tribe), Michael Kern (UW, mediator, and documentary co-producer). Moderated by Lyn Dennis, Tribal Liaison.
