The Native Pathways Program extends its deepest gratitude to Storme Webber for her generous donation of a significant collection of books and art to the Mary Ellen Hillaire Library. Storme Webber, a Two Spirit, Alutiiq/Black/Choctaw, internationally acclaimed writer, interdisciplinary artist, educator, and curator, has enriched our library with both old and new texts that will greatly support our students on their academic journeys.
Already, several students have found valuable sources within these texts and have even recognized their own relatives cited in the content or featured in photos. This donation is more than just books; it’s a bridge connecting our students to their heritage and empowering their educational pursuits.
