- Winter Quarter Midterm Exams were handed back in Problem Session on Thu. Feb. 5. You can find blank versions of the exams at the Week 15 Calendar Page.
- Revisions are due at noon on Thu. Feb. 12 (at the beginning of Problem Session).
- Anyone may submit an Exam Revision.
- Students who scored 20 points or less (out of 40 points total) on the Calculus exam must submit an Exam Revision.
- Students who scored 45 points or less (out of 75 points total) on the Physics exam must submit an Exam Revision.
- As usual, you may use your original exam, your notes from the group exam reflection, textbooks, notes, solutions, consultation with classmates, and any other resources to complete your Exam Revision. However, any work submitted must be a reflection of your own current, personal understanding – do not submit work which does not properly convey your current understanding.
- The expectations for the Exam Revision are very high. We look for beautiful solutions that fully convey your conceptual understanding and/or problem-solving process.
- For revisions of multiple choice or fill in the blank type questions, it is entirely insufficient and unacceptable to simply circle or fill in the right answer. You must carefully explain your reasoning for multiple-choice/fill-in-the-blank/short answer type questions.
- We will look carefully at each revised question with the “3 C’s” in mind: Correctness, Completeness, and Clarity.
