There are several additions/changes, listed below, to accommodate field trips, seminars, and special events. Please note them in your personal calendars, and where necessary, make any needed arrangements, or contact us by Fri. Sep. 29 (the end of the first week) to let us know if you can’t re-arrange.

• Monday September 25, Week 1. (mandatory). First class meeting day; all students available all day from 9am – 3pm.
• Thursday September 28, Week 1. (mandatory). Math/Physics Workshop begins at 11:30 (break will be from 10:30 – 11:30). Regular class meeting today so students can attend Clam Bake from 11:30 – 12:00 on Red Square.
• Monday October 16, Week 4. (mandatory). Joint Program Mixer noon – 1:30pm (lunch provided) with students from upper-level program Mathematical Systems.
• Tuesday October 17, Week 4. (mandatory). Field Trip. Chem Lab, 8 – 10am (all students taking chemistry). Field Trip 10:30am – 5pm (all students in program).
• Thursday October 26, Week 5. (mandatory). Seminar 9 – 11am.
• Friday November 3, Week 6. (optional). Program potluck and Alumni Panel, joint event with upper-level program Atoms, Molecules, and Reactions (part of that program’s Career Week) 11:30 – 1 (potluck), 1 – 3:30 (panel).
• Thursday November 30, Week 9. (mandatory). Seminar 9 – 11am.

While there may be minor changes, this gives you a good sense of what is due when and how you might distribute your work across the week. The version that will show up in the Program Syllabus will be definitive, and we will update this page to reflect that final version.
