Come join Seattle Jobs Initiative and King County in a brief presentation on their recently released Green Jobs Report on October 12^th 3-4:30 pm. The report will detail an analysis completed by senior researchers at Seattle Job Initiative on local projected high growth industry sectors and job types related to the green economy. The research will detail the process and findings for high growth industries within the next 10 years and provides a basis for industry focus areas as King County creates its first iteration of the countywide Green Jobs Strategy focused on creating economic opportunities for frontline communities affected by climate change. The presentation will open with brief remarks by Michael Carter, King County Green Jobs Program Manager and then a presentation of material by Dr. Kathleen Carson.
