Primary duties include: 1) wildlife rescue and rehabilitation – intake, diagnosis, medical treatment, daily care, and determination of need for veterinary consultation for small to mid-sized mammals (including bear cubs and deer fawns), birds of all sizes, and occasionally reptiles, 2) supervising facility intern(s), assistant manager, and volunteer personnel, providing leadership, training, and oversight of rehabilitation practices, daily animal care, and facility and vehicle maintenance, including care of resident educational animals, 3) public educational outreach and event presentations and regular coordination with BOD, and 4) associated data management and administrative work.
