Northwest Innovative Forestry Summit (NIFS), which will take place September 30 – October 2, 2022 at Pack Forest in Eatonville, WA.

Join forestry professionals, researchers, and forest stewards for a three-day exploration of the past, present and future role of innovation in forestry. Each day will include a series of lectures and discussions, field tours, small-group sessions, and evening community-building activities let by a diverse mix of people from around the region.
The Summit will take place at the beautiful University of Washington Pack Forest in Eatonville, Washington ― with various options for overnight accommodations on-site. A limited number of scholarships to help reduce the burden of registration fees are available for college and university students.
This event is a collaborative effort between the Forest Stewards Guild, Intertribal Timber Council, Northwest Natural Resource Group, Oregon State University – College of Forestry, and University of Washington – School of Environmental and Forest Sciences.
