A full-time appointment for a qualified GIS Specialist (Research Associate I) position is available with CEMML and duty-stationed on Guam in compliance with the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service Mariana Islands Training and Testing Biological Opinion of 2015 and the Navy-funded Project Statement of Work that implement regional biosecurity measures to prevent introduction and promote control and management of invasive species. In fulfillment of these objectives, the GIS Specialist will develop, maintain, and provide GIS data and maps, conduct geospatial analyses, manage mobile geospatial data collection apps and other GPS and desktop GIS applications, and conduct basic statistical analyses of biological data.

This position requires excellent interpersonal skills, collaboration, flexibility, and diplomacy, in coordinating with project proponents and managers, as well as Navy Installation GIS Managers.

Relocation expenses may be available; conditions apply.
