The Army Corps of Engineers currently has 4 years of fish passage videos for two Lower Snake River dams that they have collected as part of requirements of their Endangered Species Act compliance for listed bull trout. Additional data will be collected starting in November 2026. This data needs analyzed to document the number, timing, and directional movement of bull trout passage through adult fish ladders at these two dams in the winter months (November through March). The information is vital to understanding the use of the Snake River by bull trout throughout the year. We are looking for a student interested in analyzing the videos or developing an AI tool to analyze the videos for this rare species.
