In 2015, poet and collector Norman Schaefer donated over 600 volumes of Mid-20th Century poetry, broadsides, and ephemera to The Evergreen State College Rare Books Collection. As part of the April 27 Poetry Month Celebration, he spoke to Evergreen students, staff, and faculty about the collection and his experiences traveling the country reading, amassing books, and finding his own voice as a writer.
