Bill Finger, Voyager

“To explore, is to drift through time.”

-Bill Finger

Galerie Fotoland is honored to present Bill Finger’s, Voyager. Using the Voyager Space Probes as a metaphor, Voyager shows the long-term journey into the unknown that we face everyday. Voyager is an exploration into the nature of time, and created through photographs of his studio constructions of highly detailed miniature dioramas-a hallmark of Finger’s approach to photography. Voyager matches the technologically profound in space exploration with the mundane of daily life on earth.

Bill Finger is a Seattle based artist whose work combines sculpture and photography. Bill has exhibited his photographs in both the US and Canada. His work is included in the permanent collections of the George Eastman Museum of Photography and the Santa Barbara Museum of Art. He holds a MFA in Photography from the Rochester Institute of Technology.

Galerie Fotoland is located in the first floor lobby of the Evergreen State College Library building, outside Photoland.
