Craig Hickman: OXIDE

Now Showing, through June

Galerie Fotoland is pleased to show recent work by Craig Hickman.  A few Evergreen old-timers may remember him as our campus photographer and photography instructor in the 1970’s.  Many of the images that now define Evergreen’s early development were taken by Hickman.  Hickman is a Professor of Digital Arts at the University of Oregon. He received his Bachelor of Science degree from Portland State University and a Master of Fine Arts Degree from the University of Washington.  He is co-founder of Portland’s premiere photography exhibition space, Blue Sky Gallery, and creator of the software program, Kid Pix.  He was recently honored by Apple Computers for being one of thirty pioneer innovators “who continue to change the world.”  You see his work online, at http://red-green-blue.com/.
