The ‘Awakening Your Passion Workshop’, was designed to support the annual Academic Statement preparation process. It can be incorporated into each program. The workshop introduces the use of the Learning Compass, discovering a common “why” for a program or team, and provides an introduction to the formulation of value propositions. Students do utilize these tools to become better self-directed learners.

Faculty attend sessions learning Changemaker lab methods and learn by doing. The workshop is facilitated by student team entrepreneurs and/or coaches. It is a real example of interdisciplinary learning at Evergreen the Evergreen way.

The workshop duration can be modified into a short one-hour activity for part coverage or a half-day workshop. We are a resource available to support your programming. Please utilize us! We want to empower our peers to be leaders in their chosen fields and to begin to think that we can all be Changemakers.
