Students in the program Energy Systems and Climate Change calculate energy conversions on Tues., Feb. 16, 2016. The students are studying the impacts of energy use on climate change, and are researching the potential impacts of using alternative energy sources such as solar. Students are working in teams to propose real-life projects that reduce humans’ dependence on non-renewable sources of energy. A student group works on a research-backed proposal to install solar panels on Evergreen’s Covered Pavillion.
