The Washington Center offers a range of customizable services to two and four year colleges and universities. These services, designed and facilitated by Washington Center staff and resource faculty, can support your institution in meeting goals and initiatives for student success, faculty development, learning assessment, and many other areas.

Consultation
Washington Center Resource Faculty consult with individuals and small teams to investigate institutional needs and goals and develop practical strategies for progress. Consultations are led by skillful coaches and are tailored to your needs.
Workshops
The Washington Center offers customized professional development workshops on many topics to support your team’s success. Work with your facilitator to define your team’s needs, and we will design an engaging and timely training experience. Virtual, in-person, half-day, and full-day options available.
Institutes
The Washington Center offers campus-based action planning institutes at affordable rates to facilitate the development of two-year action plans with cross-divisional teams. We send resource faculty to your campus for four days of focused work with you and your team.
The Washington Center hosts a National Summer Institute at a host campus, allowing campus teams to convene for a four-day immersive planning process guided by Washington Center staff and resource faculty. The National Summer Institute creates a space for cross-divisional teams to do focused work on institutional projects or initiatives supported by collaboration among all attending institutions.
Collaborative
The Washington Center Collaborative was founded in 2020 as the home for ongoing virtual collaboration with our team of resource faculty and higher education professionals across the country. The Collaborative offers monthly free virtual workshops during the academic year, a monthly newsletter, and a Slack space.
