- Our first class meeting starts promptly at 9am on Monday January 9 in CAL West.
- All students are expected to attend.
- Class sessions will be 9:00-11:15 and 12:30-2:45 (note the slightly shorter lunch break this day).
- Hopefully you’ve been preparing for the first day by completing the reading assignment, which has been available for some time (see Winter Break Reading).
- As you can, start using our online annotation tool at nb.mit.edu (see Winter Quarter Reading Responses).
- Prepare for the first day quiz in Linear Algebra (LA) and for the first class discussion of Electrodynamics (EM) (see Winter First Day Quiz and Prep Info).
- We’ll begin with a short discussion of program administration and logistics.
- We’ll spend the rest of the morning on the LA quiz and discussion (see Winter First Day Quiz and Prep Info), going until 11:15 (so a slightly shorter lunch break this day).
- We’ll reconvene at 12:30 and spend the rest of the day until 2:45 on EM; make sure you’ve completed some version of a reading response (as described in Winter First Day Quiz and Prep Info) by 9am.
