Problem Sets to be completed in your corresponding PSNs by noon Sun. Mar. 5.

  • EM PS#7: Griffiths: 4.22, 4.26, 5.2(a)(c), 5.3, 5.4, 5.6, 5.9, 5.10(a), 5.12, 5.13, 5.41, 5.42
  • QM PS#4: Townsend: 4.1, 4.2, 4.3, 4.4, 4.5, 4.6, 4.8, 4.11, 4.12, 4.13, 4.14, 4.15
  • EM notes: For 4.22, review 3.24 (done in class) and/or 3.26 (a homework problem). Note that 5.10 has been reduced to just 5.10(a). For 5.12, consider how to build up a spherical shell out of a bunch of rings. Problem 5.41 is a classic, and many of you likely did this in your intro EM course.
