The goal of this session is to help you think about ways you can use assessment to strengthen your LC/LLC program. To that end, we will describe the different assessment strategies we are using on our respective campuses, sharing materials related to each of our approaches. As we describe what we do, we’ll name both the benefits of our approaches and the challenges associated with them, working from the principle that some of the most important outcomes we want to assess are those that are hardest to assess. Once we’ve shared information about what we do on our campuses, we’ll invite you to join us in discussion about the important work of using assessment as a tool for improvement in any program.
