For many colleges, strategic planning has become critical due to a combination of increased accountability and decreased funding. Strategic planning for learning communities can occur at multiple points in the institutional process (e.g. strategic plan formation, institutional initiatives alignment, within learning communities) and planning ahead for this important process is critical to sustain your program. In this workshop, we will define strategic planning, demonstrate how you can use important principles to guide your LC/LLC work with campus stakeholders, and offer advice for securing and/or maintaining funding to scale your program.
