4) Briefly describe your experiences with collaborative learning. In M&M, students will develop and refine their capacities for collaborative learning across significant differences, and so we are interested in learning: a) what has been productive for you in collaborative learning in the past, b) where you have encountered difficulties, and c) areas where you would like to improve. *

5) What are your obligations (family, work, extra-curricular, etc.) outside of M&M? *

7) This question gives us important information to advise you into the appropriate math track in M&M. Briefly describe the math classes you have taken in high school or college or other relevant mathematics experience. We are particularly interested in your background in algebra and/or precalculus (including trigonometry), the math prerequisites for this program. If you’ve studied calculus before, please discuss that as well. *

We don’t expect students to have previously studied chemistry or physics but would like particularly to know about any background in chemistry, physics, or any of the physical sciences. *
