OU (in Norman, Oklahoma) has an annual Research Experience for Undergraduates. The official dates start in May but the organizer tells me that they can be flexible to accommodate students on the quarter system. Accepted students receive a stipend as well as free lodging and travel costs. See the link above for information and the online application form. Applications are due March 26.
