You are invited to a training webinar co-hosted by Wu Projects & Terran Collective, featuring a presentation by Thomas Linzey, Senior Counsel for the Center for Democratic and Environmental Rights (CDER), an organization committed to globally advancing environmental rights.

This webinar will focus on the concept of legally enforceable Rights of Nature, and will trace the development of Rights of Nature laws and court decisions around the world. This will include efforts currently underway across the United States and around the globe to enact and enforce local and national laws recognizing rights of ecosystems and nature.

This training is intended for communities and groups in the U.S. interested in learning about the Rights of Nature movement, and how to implement it in their own town or city. After the training, there will be time for questions and discussion.

In addition to serving as Senior Counsel for the CDER, Thomas Linzey is the co-founder of the Community Environmental Legal Defense Fund (CELDF) and is widely recognized as the founder of the contemporary “community rights” movement which has resulted in the adoption of several hundred municipal laws across the United States. He also sits on the Board of Advisors of the New Earth Foundation.
