Salary: 18.00 – 20.00 per hour (depending on qualifications and experience). Benefits: Paid sick leave at a rate of one (1) hour for every 40 hours worked. Pacific County Department of Invasive Species & Vegetation Management has openings for full-time (temporary) Field Crew. Basic duties include: Assist the Director, Project Leaders, and other staff in implementing the noxious weed control program, green crab removal, and other invasive species projects, as needed. Must be physically able to traverse difficult terrain often during inclement weather conditions. Must be able to lift and carry objects weighing up to 40 lbs. Must be able to visually identify noxious weeds and invasive plants. Minimum Qualifications: Age: 18 years, High school diploma or equivalent, valid WA Driver’s License, experience working in natural resources or local government, and must pass a criminal background check.
