TERRACORPS: Connecting land and people for life
TerraCorps works at the intersection of land conservation, community farming, food justice, and community resilience to grow the next generation of environmental leaders and build
the capacity of localnonprofits.
Come serve as a TerraCorps service member at a local nonprofit and help cultivate an ecosystem of people and organizations working to protect and steward land for broader good. This year, we are looking to fill 60 of the following positions in Massachusetts and Rhode Island:
Land Steward Coordinator

Community Engagement Coordinator

Sustainable Agriculture Coordinator 

Youth Education Coordinator

Land Conservation Coordinator 


As a TerraCorps service member you can:

  • Help communities conserve land
  • Teach future farmers how to grow organic food
  • Build trails for all abilities to exercise on
  • Organize volunteers at community farms
  • Help kids grow vegetables at schools
  • Teach youth about nature
  • Grow food in urban spaces
  • Preserve farmland for future generations
  • Care for wildlife on public land
  • Help local nonprofits achieve their mission

Position and Benefits:
Members join the TerraCorps program and serve an 11-month term, from August 2024 to July 2025.
During their term of service, members receive:
Living allowance ($27,000)
AmeriCorps Segal Education Award ($7,395)
