Are you passionate about assessing habitat protection and restoration management efforts on Washington’s working lands?

In this position you would serve as WDFW’s statewide internal lead for evaluating implementation of the state’s Voluntary Stewardship Program (VSP).  You would be primarily responsible for reviewing and assessing county-level status reports and making internal recommendations regarding VSP implementation as it relates to protecting critical areas for fish and wildlife where they intersect with agricultural activities.

We see a person who can get up to speed quickly, distill and convey technical information effectively to diverse audiences, and recommend alternative monitoring and adaptive management activities if appropriate.

The optimal candidate is a proactive, largely self-directed team player who is a positive, realistic problem-solver and respects and values the opinions of others.
