Reporting to the Director of Sustainability and collaborating frequently with the Associate Vice President for Facilities Management or designee, the Sustainability Project and Reporting Coordinator assists in developing, coordinating, administering, and measuring sustainability-related programs, policies, and technologies at Creighton University. This position will compile, maintain and report on the greenhouse gas inventory as well as on data related tobuilding-specific sustainability, on-campus renewable energy, and waste diversion. The Coordinator is responsible for consistently updating and reporting metrics on multiple external assessment programs including but not limited to Tree Campus USA  the Sustainability Tracking Assessment and Rating System (STARS, Second Nature, and The Laudato Si Action Platform among others. The position will work with the Sustainability Governance Committee to publish a yearly campus sustainability report. Additional responsibilities will involve general assistance to the Director of Sustainability and agreed-upon shared waste diversion projects for the Associate Vice President for Facilities Management or designee.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 2-4 years related experience
  • Client management experience
  • Database experience

  • Team player with excellent interpersonal skills; must be able to establish and maintain effective, cooperative working relationships with clients and staff
