The California Energy Commission is looking to fill a Special Advisor position who will consult with Commissioner Gunda on activities, policies, and programs of the Commission, represents the Commissioner at meetings and public functions, and performs other related duties as required. The Advisor works closely with other Commissioner Offices as well as the Executive Director’s Office.

Commissioner Gunda is the lead for the Energy Assessments Division, electric reliability and data initiatives.

Applicants with experience with electricity and natural gas systems, data collection and management, and state planning efforts are preferred. This position is open to interested applicants both within state service and not in state service. Salary: $7,442.00 – $10,696.00 per Month
