Global to Local is hiring a Senior Program Manager to join our fun, dedicated, and dynamic team. Reporting to the Executive Director, this position is responsible for the strategic and operational management of community-based programs, including supporting development of new programs and projects. The Senior Program Manager ensures that we deliver high-quality programs and services that improve lives and move South King County communities toward health equity. What You’ll Do

  • Develop and implement annual plans for community programs in collaboration with program staff and the G2L leadership team.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships and partnerships with clinical and social service providers and community groups in South King County. Convene partners to identify opportunities for collaboration, attend community meetings, and represent G2L’s interests as needed.
  • Develop program policies, procedures, and evaluation plans for new and existing programs and develop and monitor annual program budgets and grant/project budgets.
  • Assist with fundraising efforts including identifying funding opportunities and drafting proposals. Ensure that all reports for current grants and contracts are submitted on time and that program activities comply with funding agreements.
  • Hire, train, supervise, and coach a team of four. Provide ongoing leadership, guidance, and supervision to ensure the success of our team members and our programs.
  • Manage a small client caseload and provide assistance and support to team members with their casework as needed.

  • Please have at least 4 years of experience in nonprofit program management supporting diverse communities. Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field may substitute for 2 years of experience. Experience in program design, budgeting, and evaluation is required.
  • Please have at least 2 years of experience managing people and fostering a positive workplace environment.
  • Deep understanding of social determinants of health and equity, and a deep commitment to fighting racism and other forms of oppression.
  • Experience working with multicultural groups. Ability to communicate and build relationships with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with collective approaches to organizational and programmatic development.
  • Demonstrated ability to problem-solve, prioritize, delegate, and create systems/processes.
  • The following qualifications are desired but not required: experience working with immigrant/refugee communities; familiarity with South King County communities; direct experience in social services, public health, or healthcare; proficiency in any foreign language commonly spoken in South King County.

Compensation & Benefits

This is a full-time, exempt position with an salary range of $58,000 to $68,000. Global to Local has some great benefits, including:

Physical Demands

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to handle or feel; and talk and hear. This job is rated for Light work, requiring the ability to lift or move up to 20 lbs. on occasion. Close visual acuity to perform activities such as reading and viewing a computer terminal are required. This position requires occasional travel in the SeaTac/Tukwila area and may require the use of a personal vehicle.

All G2L staff are currently working from home due to the COVID-19 pandemic, with the option to work in the office as needed on a limited basis.
