Summary: The Restoration Associate will be involved with all aspects of our Habitat Restoration program, and also support Willamette Riverkeeper events as needed. We are looking for a collaborative self-starter who can easily transition between varied tasks: leading volunteers during invasive weed removal work events, crunching budget numbers in Excel spreadsheets, conducting site visits to evaluate restoration plans with contractors, teaching groups to navigate moving water via canoe or kayak, writing grant reports, and working to secure documentation for funders, to name a few. The ideal candidate will be a skilled habitat restoration professional who has the knowledge and aptitude to potentially assume a leadership role with our many restoration projects.

Reports to: WR’s Habitat Restoration Manager and collaborates with Willamette Riverkeeper’s seven staff members as well as project partners along all 187 miles of the Willamette River.
