SEI US (Seattle) is seeking a passionate early- to mid-career researcher to contribute to SEI’s work on emerging topics in climate policy, focusing on just, equitable, and sustainable transitions to a “net zero” global economy. Specific topics could include designing effective and equitable international carbon markets; advancing city-scale climate policies aligned with state, national, and global climate goals; industrial decarbonization and just transitions; and the economics and politics of oil, gas, and coal extraction.
