The City is seeking an innovative CAP coordinator to provide innovative trainings on waste reduction, recycling, and food recovery in multiple languages to both multifamily and single-family residents. The trainings inspire ambassadors to use word-of-mouth as an effective educational tool. The program uses a train-the-trainer model in which some community members lead their own trainings of additional ambassadors.

Under the direction of the Communication and Engagement Team Lead, the CAP Coordinator will be responsible for managing the nationally award-winning Environmental Services CAP including working with partner community-based organizations, arranging trainings, and supporting ambassadors. Essential Duties
