What We Need:
We seek a Program Associate with a passion for racial equity and an excitement to build and support administrative processes. The ideal candidate would have the ability to deliver administrative projects and items with a high level of accuracy, while planning for future priorities and initiatives. They should be excited about data collection, details, coordinating across an organization and creating administrative initiatives that improve efficiency of the organization and move the strategic mission and vision of Green 2.0. They should also have a positive approach to collaboration, a high degree of personal initiative, and enjoy paying attention to details.

Responsibilities:

  • Data Collection and Entry: Assist with data entry and collection and record keeping for annual reports.
  • Research: Support research across the organization and prospecting of new partners and potential grant opportunities.
  • Logistics Support: Lead on travel arrangements, itineraries, catering, and other event logistics.
  • Maintain Contact Lists: Researching, updating, and maintaining contact and communications lists for partners, events, and other initiatives ensuring a high level of accuracy.
  • Content Development Support: Reviewing reports, memos, remarks, newsletters, talking points, and other content. Formatting presentations and other external materials.
  • Meetings Coordination: Coordinate meetings across the organization and externally and manage meeting notes and create recommendations for team.
  • Project Management: Overseeing and participating in the execution of administrative tactics, ensuring quality control and adjusting approaches as contexts warrant.
  • External Engagement and Events: Participating in opportunities to raise visibility of Green 2.0 and the issues we prioritize.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • 1+ years’ experience in administrative or programmatic work (internships included).
  • A team player with a thoughtful approach to problem-solving and finding ways to make things work better.
  • Excel at keeping track of details and demonstrate strong time management skills.
  • Lead on supporting staff to ensure that day-to-day operations run smoothly.
  • Master administrative tasks with any eye for improving processes.
  • Experience working directly with people from diverse racial, ethnic, and socioeconomic backgrounds.
  • A collaborative and relationship-building mindset.
  • Ability to manage shifting priorities under tight deadlines.
  • Project management skills across multiple assignments with many moving parts.

Compensation and Benefits:

The range for this position is $55,000-$62,000 commensurate with experience, and generous benefits. This position is based in our Washington D.C. office. Green 2.0 provides the ability to work remotely, but part of the week will be spent in the office. The position requires travel for events and other programming.
