Nature of the work
The Parks Maintenance Technician 4 position in the Parks & Recreation Division is responsible for performing journey level work in one or more trade areas such as carpentry, electrical, mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, painting, masonry, or other related trade area. This position is distinguished from other park maintenance positions by performing specialized higher level work requiring a broader knowledge and skill level in trades, maintenance, and construction work. Work involves project planning and prioritizing, cost estimating, understanding drawings and plans, and ensuring work quality meet standards and code requirements.

As a condition of employment, the applicant will need to authorize and complete a background check. Information received from the background check is reviewed case-by-case and will not necessarily remove an applicant from consideration.
