Salary- $15-$21/hour

GENERAL SUMMARY:

The Gardener/Landscaper is responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of the grounds at Alderbrook Resort. This position is responsible not only for creating a pleasant and well-kept landscape for the resort, but also to interact in a positive, polite, and engaged manner with Alderbrook Resort & Spa employees and guests.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • General landscape upkeep, including but not limited to:

Ø Mowing

Ø Weeding

Ø Pruning

Ø Edging

Ø Weed-eating

Ø Planting

  • Repair/Maintenance of irrigation system
  • Upkeep of resort trail system including possible use of chain saw to cut fallen trees and/or limbs
  • Follow at all times proper safety precautions
  • Other duties and projects as assigned

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & REQUIREMENTS:

Ideal candidate will have a background in landscape maintenance with a minimum of 1-2 years previous experience.
