The Eugene Water & Electric Board is seeking a GIS Programmer Analyst (I/II) who will work with a team of GIS professionals and business stakeholders to perform complex work including; Design in Multiple Development Environments using a variety Programming Languages, Advanced Data Management, GIS Systems Administration, Report Development, Application and Process Design, Software Upgrades, Troubleshooting, Testing and Project /Task Management in support of EWEB’s GIS Ecosystem. In addition, this position is expected to perform advanced GIS Spatial Analysis and modeling and provide development and support for all GIS related Integrations and Project Work.
The successful candidate must have the ability to learn new technologies quickly and apply technology to solve moderately complex business problems. They must demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively with internal/external customers, possess strong analytical skills to interpret, assess, and integrate complex data from multiple sources as well as provide demonstrated team experience working collaboratively to address common goals. Excellent organizational skills including ability to work effectively in self-directed environment are highly valued.
The annual salary for this position is between $82,661.85 to $103,327.37 commensurate with knowledge, skills, education, and experience as it relates to the position.

Minimum Training and Experience Required:
Minimum Experience: Five years of experience in database design, data modeling, data integration and software development, including a minimum of one year of experience developing GIS applications on the ESRI platform.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems GIS, or related fields.
Desirable education, experience, training, and certifications: Utility and Data Warehousing experience preferred.
Equivalency: An equivalent combination of experience and education may be qualifying.
