Salary- $77,544.00 – $101,748.00 Annually

Duties Include

  • Performing descriptive and predictive analytics to communicate trends in public health for communicable and infectious diseases, care and prevention of those diseases, immunization and other related public health issues and concerns.
  • Performing data mining, data management and statistical analysis tasks on agency data stores, data warehouse, data marts and Azure Cloud blobs.
  • Providing consultation and specialized analysis, design, quality assurance, and problem resolution tasks for data analysis across the organization.
  • Consulting with customers on new systems to ensure the data collected will support visualization and analysis.
  • Collecting, sorting and analyzing existing data in response to inquiries for assignments from internal business and IT staff and external users.
  • Applying knowledge of ArcGIS software, spatial analysis concepts, practices and procedures to GIS data analysis projects for agency staff.
  • Solving simple to highly complex IT problems.
  • Designing and developing data visualizations using Power BI and Tableau software.
  • Designing small to enterprise-level N-Tier agency and business unit web applications that interact with multiple data source types, web services or data warehouses.
  • Developing, maintaining and enhancing applications using the ArcGIS Enterprise platform.
  • Developing system and user documentation for supported systems by properly documenting code, functions and system processes.

Required Qualifications

Option 1: Eight (8) or more years of professional experience in one (1) or more of the following IT disciplines: data analytics, data science, GIS, systems development, systems analysis, database management.
Option 2: An Associate’s degree or higher in Information Technology program or a closely related field; and six (6) or more years of information technology professional experience in one (1) or more of the following IT disciplines: data analytics, data science, GIS, systems development, systems analysis, database management.
Option 3: A Bachelor’s degree or higher in Information Technology program or a closely related field; and four (4) or more years of professional experience in one (1) or more of the following IT disciplines: data analytics, data science, GIS, systems development, systems analysis, database management.

And
Demonstrated experience working with ESRI’s ArcGIS Enterprise software or ArcGIS Online.
