Forestry Technician

What We Are Looking For

We are looking for motivated folks to collect data in forests around Washington and Oregon during the Spring through Fall field season. Full time or part time seasonal positions are available with the potential for permanent appointments. Opportunities to gain GIS and other technical skills in future projects.

Qualifications

• Forestry- or ecology-focused undergraduate education in progress or completed

• Experience working in the field collecting data

• A working understanding of PNW ecosystems

• Ability to travel, work, and camp in rough terrain and adverse conditions

• Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle capable of driving on primitive roads
