Responsibilities
- Assure that budget, financial requirements and/or supporting technologies are sufficient to meet an organizations or project’s short and longer term milestones and/or objectives.
- Recommend the distribution of annual program funding to subordinate units and program priorities for a resource management program.
- Provide program oversight of comprehensive management programs, such as development, management and/or protection of resources, for an assigned location.
- Lead a management team coordinating program goals and priorities for activities on a unit or multiple units.
- Direct a major organizational unit with responsibility for managing human, acquisition, and/or information resources to accomplish the work.
- Responsible for resolving program issues and/or controversial problems in reaching final agreements.
- Establish long-range work plans and schedules toward meeting an organization?s vision, mission, and/or goals.
- Plan the work to be accomplished by assigning work to employees and establishing production or quality standards for the unit?s work.
- Perform administrative and human resources management functions for the unit such as providing advice, counsel or instruction on both administrative and work matters.
- Foster an inclusive workplace where diversity and individual differences are leveraged to achieve the vision and mission of the organization.
- Promote an inclusive work environment that is free from all types of discrimination.
