Salary- $46,644.00 – $61,224.00
Required Qualifications:
A total of Six (6) years of experience and/or education as described below:

Professional level Experience in: environmental analysis or control or environmental planning.

Education: involving a major study in environmental, physical, or one of the natural sciences, environmental planning or other allied field.

OR
One year of experience as an Environmental Specialist 2, at the Department of Ecology.
Special Requirements/Conditions of Employment:
- Must have a valid license to operate a vehicle in Washington.
- Must have or be able to obtain a Washington Boaters Safety card after hire.
Desired Qualifications:

- Experience working with a large environmental database, including loading data and following quality assurance protocols.
- Experience with field collection of environmental samples and measurements.
- Aquatic invasive plant identification skills and knowledge.
- Knowledge of discrete water quality sampling, measuring stream flow and continuous water quality and stream gauging station equipment.
