Required Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Engineering or other Science related field, plus 10 years experience in environmental compliance, nuclear facility D&D, management and supervision of technical personnel, radiological/chemical sampling and analysis and waste operations.

* Must have strong interpersonal skills and be able to interface, communicate and negotiate with all levels of personnel, including senior level management.

The West Area Remediation Project (WARP) Environmental Manager is a direct report to the WARP Occupational Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Radiological Protection and Environmental Protection Director. The Environmental Manager is responsible for managing WARP project environmental professionals in the development of all required environmental documentation and assists WARP with managing regulatory challenges and developing approaches to maintain environmental compliance as needed.

Specific activities include:
* Managing direct report, matrixed and subcontractor employees,
* Maintaining Project Schedules,
* Interfacing with DOE and regulators regarding RCRA and CERCLA document development,
* Coordinating with program on environmental related communications to DOE and regulators,
* Ensuring responses to regulatory inspection reports, NOVs, etc. are provided on schedule and are accurate and complete,
* Providing technical input to proposal for new contract work scope,
* Overseeing implementation of the environmental requirements management activities applicable to WARP operations,
* Serving as Buyer’s Technical Representative for contracted work scope.

Desired Qualifications
* Environmental compliance expertise to identify environmental requirements imposed by laws, regulations, permits, CERCLA documents, company procedures and processes.
