Salary- $165,494.99 – $212,288.48
Typical Management Responsibilities
- Manages the planning, acquisition, development and redevelopment of properties and facilities;
- Oversees the customer services division; the engineering and construction services division; and the long range planning and property management divisions;
- Oversees the day-to-day operation and maintenance of the County Park system;
- Manages the selection, training, supervision and evaluation of staff;
- Responsible for the capital improvement program;
- Responsible for the approval and implementation of the master plan for the County Park system;
- Responsible for negotiating, approving and monitoring contractual agreements with other County agencies and private contractors to provide property acquisition and development related services to the department;
- Develops budget recommendations and monitors expenditures for areas of responsibility;
- Consults with the Director in the formation of administrative policies for the department and assumes responsibility for implementation of same;
- Acts as a consultant to the other division heads on policies and inter-departmental relationships;
- Acts as department head in the absence of the Director;
- Oversees the department’s safety compliance programs;
- Performs other related work as required.
