Salary- $50,000 -$60,000 per year
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in field appropriate to area of assignment AND two years administrative/coordinator program experience; OR, Six years of progressively responsible administrative/coordinator program experience; OR, Any equivalent combination of experience and/or education from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with non-profit organizations, universities, or government agencies in the science & technology sector.
- Experience in project coordination, OR policy communication, OR public engagement (1 year)
- Effective communication, networking, and presentation skills. Comfort with calling potential stakeholders and participants over the phone, in-person and virtual meetings, and pitching.
- Experience with organizational skills, attention to detail and focus on task completion.
- Results orientated, able to work independently and collaboratively, and takes initiative.
- Team-focused, enjoy working as part of an active group of highly engaged individuals.
- Experience in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Powerpoint, Excel), Zoom, project management tools, and cloud-based services (Dropbox, Google Drive, Box).
- Ability to multi-task in fast paced environment, and able to plan, prioritize, and organize individual and group activities.
Working Environment
- Climate-controlled office setting subject to extended periods of sitting.
- Visual acuity and manual dexterity associated with daily use of desktop computer;
- Some bending, stooping, reaching, and lifting up to 20 pounds.
- Ability to clearly communicate to perform essential duties.
- Expected to be responsive to customers, engaged in work production, resourceful, flexible, and respectful of others.
