Salary– $22.9K – $29.1K

The Biological Technician will perform simple routine tasks under close supervision or from detailed procedures. Work is checked in progress or on completion.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

This work will require strenuous physical exertion, such as walking over uneven, slick surfaces while carrying heavy packs. Skilled use of topographic maps, compass, GPS units, and other field equipment is required. Previous experience on biological field studies and/or prior field experience preferred

Job Requirements (Education/Skills/Experience)::

Use a variety of databases and reporting systems to store, compile, and analyze data from studies.
Collects biological samples ensuring correct documentation, reporting, storage, transport and delivery of samples taken. Participates in multifaceted studies, including carrying out a variety of research and survey methods, analyzing established data, and monitoring elements related to conservation and management.
