STORMWATER OUTREACH COORDINATOR

Recruit and train community volunteers in Green Street plantings and stewardship for maximum environmental benefits in under-resourced, racially diverse communities.

CLACKAMAS COUNTY, SUSTAINABILITY & SOLID WASTE

WASTE REDUCTION SPECIALIST

Provide recycling/waste reduction education in multifamily communities, through relationship building, food waste prevention education and developing inclusive resources to underserved communities.

HOUSING AUTHORITY OF CLACKAMAS COUNTY

COMMUNITY GARDENS AND FOOD SECURITY COORDINATOR

Engage housing residents in community garden work parties, health and wellness education, Youth Summer Lunch programs and assessing food systems for health and food security issues.

JOHNSON CREEK WATERSHED COUNCIL

OUTREACH & RIPARIAN SPECIALIST

Plan and implement restoration projects, community science programs, volunteer events, and environmental education for watershed residents from underserved communities.

EDUCATION & OUTREACH COORDINATOR

Promote environmental justice by engaging communities and partners in opportunities that help develop stewardship, increase access to outdoors and restores/protects wildlife habitat.

PORTLAND COMMUNITY COLLEGE, SYLVANIA

LEARNING GARDEN COORDINATOR

Establish systems that supply fresh produce to students experiencing food insecurity and provide education in the Learning Garden on organic food production, planting and sustainability.

PORTLAND PUBLIC SCHOOLS

SUSTAINABILITY PROJECT COORDINATOR

Energize students to save resources through behavior change, underscore a conservation ethic in schools, reduce the environmental footprint of the district, and educate about environmental justice.

REYNOLDS LEARNING ACADEMY

ENVIRONMENTAL PROGRAM SPECIALIST

Organize and coordinate environmental education opportunities to engage students from diverse backgrounds. Develop bilingual materials to meet the needs of second language learners.

SANDY RIVER WATERSHED COUNCIL

COMMUNITY OUTREACH COORDINATOR

Develop outreach strategies to engage local populations in stewardship activities. Create partnerships with diverse groups, attend public outreach events and coordinate plantings and clean-up events. 2

UNITED WAY OF THE COLUMBIA-WILLAMETTE

RESILIENCE COORDINATOR

Provide logistical, communications, research, and reporting support to UWCW’s natural disaster resilience work, the Disaster Resilience Learning Collaborative pilot and long-term strategic planning.

WASHINGTON COUNTY SOLID WASTE AND RECYCLING

COMMUNITY OUTREACH SPECIALIST

Implement a waste prevention project for multifamily communities. Offer technical assistance to managers that include educational materials, presentations, outreach and tabling.
