About Metamimicry:
Metamimcry was born from two people who wanted to do something to address pollution in their home. Jade and Mack met while both working at mushroom farms in Olympia and wanted to explore what else mushrooms brought besides being a powerful food and medicine source. Mack had done research on 6PPD-quinone, a car tire chemical killing Coho salmon, and we created our first project experimenting to see if fungi could help in the transformation of the chemical.
