The Washington Oregon Cascadia Higher Education Sustainability Conference (WOHESC) is a platform for inspiring change, facilitating action, and promoting collaboration around sustainability within the Cascadia region’s higher education institutions. Conversation, workshops, and networking opportunities empower participants to advance environmental and social justice performance. Solutions shared at the conference will be tailored for implementation in our unique political, social, economic and environmental climate.
Join us at WOHESC 2023 as we take a holistic approach and explore the elements of relation between mindscapes and landscapes. Program content will aim to establish a sense of connection with both environment and other people, inspire learning from emotions, and offer insights on coping, adaptation, and resilience. The content will encourage attendees to consider holistic well-being as a tool to further an equitable and sustainable world.

We have a value-packed three days in store for you March 6-8, 2023 covering topics like action as an antidote to anxiety, sustainable design with student and planet health in mind and aligning communication methods to move audiences to action.
