When & Where?
Saturday, June 14th, 1:30-4:30 p.m. (check-in starts at 1 p.m.)
Hosted by Wolf Haven International (~13 miles south of Olympia)
What will we learn & what is provided?
We provide a printed & annotated list of the plants on this special prairie, and share many resources about overall ecology for later study. In addition to mastering how to distinguish many native prairie plants, you’ll learn more about the special relationships between plants, butterflies, and other animals, and how the beautiful parasitic prairie plants function.
How challenging is the hike?
This hike is ~2 miles and flat. We will be walking very slowly and stopping frequently! (Details about preparing for the class will be sent out after registering.)
