Position Description
- Ideal applicant is experienced in fisheries monitoring techniques, specifically related to watershed restoration project evaluation and long-term effectiveness monitoring.
- Fish identification, with particular emphasis on salmonids is desirable.
- Working knowledge of habitat requirements for mid-Columbia anadromous fish species.
- Understanding of land use and influences on fish habitat.
- Experience in data collection, recording and management.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in fisheries or related field, plus at least three years of experience conducting biological sampling and/or ecological monitoring.
